HTC HD2 – The Big Feature Packed Phone

Steve Jobs challenged the phone market in a rather aggressive and bold manner by launching the iPhone in the year 2007. Since then Apple has launched 3 models of the iphone and has achieved successful sales figure for all the 3 models for the consecutive years. Looking at the success of this touch phone with exciting applications and high music capabilities there were several competitors who tried launching competing phones to match the standard with the Apple iPhone.
But the attempts were not that impressive as that of the iPhone. But now an equal competition to this phone ruling the touch market has finally arrived, it's called the HTC HD2 . This windows mobile phone running Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional has a massive 4.3 inch display and a superfast 1Ghz Snapdragon processor.
The HTC HD2 is huge, fast and solid built with a number of endless features as it combines the benefit of both the Windows mobile operating system and also the inbuilt HTC Sense environment. Starting with the home screen, the phone has some cool animated weather wallpapers which give you the real feel of the ongoing weather in your city or your current location. It also holds shortcuts for contacts, programs or windows mobile applications which HTC . calls as quick links. The messaging and email environment has also been given a new look from the boring windows look to a better HTC Sense look which makes it easier and comfortable to check and reply to emails and text messages. Emphasis has also been given on Music by providing the user with easy navigation option and also a 3.5mm jack to plug into any auxillary port. Other added applications include the Opera browser, Bing, stock update, Co-Pilot for your car navigation system and facebook and twitter for social networking
The phone is user friendly, fast and has all the necessary features for multimedia, business and gaming. HTC though has been an underdog in the UK market from quite some time now, however this phone can revive its market position and turn into a bigger success with a little more marketing and promotional offers to beat the competition.
